Holiday hosting favorites (12 items you need this holiday season)

Whether you’re hosting a few friends or your entire family throughout this holiday season, having the right snacks and appetizers on hand is key! But with so many options, where do you even begin? To help you get started, I’ve rounded up a few of our favorite food items to give you the ultimate (and most delicious) holiday hosting essentials list.

  1. The Creamery Sharp Cheddar Cheese
Sold in an adorable one-pound round or as a five-pound brick, our yellow sharp cheddar can liven up your favorite cheese board. Pair the familiar tangy flavor of this cheddar cheese with dark chocolate, fig jam, bacon and cashews.
  1. The Creamery Gouda Cheese
While the name may originate from a far-off city in the Netherlands, our Gouda is made right here in Beaver, Utah. Its mild flavor makes this cheese a crowd favorite. Pairs well with amber ales, chorizo, peaches or atop your favorite pasta dish.
  1. The Creamery Pepper Jack Cheese
Our pepper jack cheese strikes the perfect balance of heat thanks to its buttery taste, semi-smooth texture and speckles of jalapeño peppers. Fill your cheese board with jalapeño peppers, grapes, pickled vegetables, and olives to pair with this cheese.

  1. Mike’s Hot Honey®
If you have not tried this honey, stop what you’re doing and order it now. This honey is a must-have for any kitchen. Infused with chili peppers, it can be drizzled on pizza, fried chicken or your favorite barbecue. We like to pair it with a sweet cheese, like The Creamery Gouda Cheese.
  1. Cox Honeyland Pure Honey in Glass Skep Jar
From its journey from Utah’s flowering Cache Valley to its skep glass containers, no secret ingredients are needed to enhance Cox Honeyland’s honey. This 100% pure, raw honey is the perfect and natural sweet addition to your cheese board alongside your favorite The Creamery cheeses.
  1. Runamok® Maple Cinnamon + Vanilla Infused Maple Syrup
This syrup is a year-round must-have. Runamok® found the perfect balance of maple, vanilla and cinnamon for their syrup. It is great on just about everything: pancakes, desserts, ice cream, yogurt and even in cocktails!

  1. Uncle Hoss’s Crisscross Crunch Death by Chocolate Crunch
Enjoy this INDULGENT treat, featuring a variety of chocolates. A buttery mix of crunchy corn and rice cereal squares are drizzled with a rich layer of milk chocolate, dark chocolate and white chocolate. If it’s death by chocolate crunch, at least it will be heavenly.
  1. Mimi's Country Candies Fudge Box
Made the old-fashioned way, this Utah-made, creamy fudge comes in a one-pound cut block – enough for everyone (if you feel like sharing). Try one of Mimi’s signature four flavors: original, walnut, peanut butter and salted caramel.
  1. Bluebird Candy Company Assorted Chocolates Box
In this delectable, assorted chocolate box, you’ll find nut, cream and caramel centers in each and every bite. The candies are made using only the finest, local ingredients, hand-dipped and given a unique signature for identification.

Our branded metal cheese knife is the missing utensil in your kitchen. Slice, serve and enjoy any and every  cheese  from The Creamery.
  1. Flour Sack Towel
These flour sack towels are not what you’d find at your grandma's house – well that may depend on the grandma. Our cheese pun designs or classic branded, 100 percent cotton flour sack towels are the perfect accessory for the sassy kitchen
  1. Handmade Lily Porcelain Platter
This unique serving dish features a letter pressed and hand painted Lily, our Holstein cow, at its center. Each dish is hand-molded and painted, fired porcelain and very substantial in weight.
