Sheet Pan Nachos with Salsa Cheddar Recipe

Serves 4-5

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ½ onion, diced
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon cumin
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Pepper to taste
  • Tortilla chips
  • Shredded The Creamery Salsa Cheddar Cheese
  • Your favorite nacho toppings, such as:
    • Black beans
    • Salsa
    • Chopped tomatoes
    • Diced avocado
    • Pickled jalapeños
    • Cilantro
    • Limes

Directions:

In a pan over medium heat, preheat vegetable oil. When hot, add the ground beef and break apart into small pieces.

When the ground beef is half-way through cooking, stir in the diced onion and spices. Combine well and finish cooking the ground beef. Set aside.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Line a sheet pan with parchment paper and spread a thin layer of tortilla chips.

Distribute some shredded salsa cheddar cheese and some of the seasoned ground beef onto the chips. If serving with black beans, add at this step.

Then, repeat layering more chips, cheese and ground beef.

Bake in the oven for 10 minutes. Remove when the cheese has melted thoroughly.

Top the nachos with more cheese and the remaining nacho toppings.

Let the sheet pan cool slightly, add a squeeze of lime, serve and enjoy!
