In celebration of June Dairy Month, we matched purchases of out shelf-stable milk made throughout the month of June and with plans to donate the matched shelf-stable milk products to a local community food bank.
On Wednesday, July 7 we were able to donate 3,240 8 oz. cartons of shelf-stable milk. With help of the Beaver County Sherriff's office and the Scouts of Beaver County Troop #323 we shared the goodness of dairy with the Beaver and Milford food banks.
“From our family farm-owners to our local employees, The Creamery is rooted in the value of community,” says Marie teVelde, senior director of retail operations and marketing at The Creamery. “We’re pleased to be able to invest in our community the way our customers invest in us every day.”
Thank you to the Beaver County Sheriff's office for picking up half of our donation and taking it to the food bank of Milford, Utah.
