The Party Pleaser Plate
Pleasing to the eyes and tastebuds, this plate has our three most popular cheese flavors, sweet and spicy Utah-made pairings and a rich cured meat.
The Plate: We suggest a rectangular wooden serving board, 8 x 10 inches
Ingredients
Cheese:
- Medium Cheddar, 1 pound
- Gouda, 1 pound
- Pepper Jack, 1 pound
Meat:
- Creminelli sopressa salami
Accompaniments:
- Bluebird Candy Co. candied almonds, quarter pound
- Pepperlane Cran-Peno jelly, 11 ounces
Tools:
- The Creamery cheese knife
- Small ramekin or serving bowl for jelly
- Cutting board
- Selected serving board
Optional others:
- Sprigs of fresh rosemary
- Olive oil and sea salt crackers
- Additional accompaniments, such as strawberries, chocolates or olives
Instructions
- Fill small ramekin or serving bowl with jelly and place on the board
- Arrange the sliced medium cheddar, gouda, pepper jack — between the cheese and the jelly, leave enough room to fill in with the remaining items
- Slice and place meat. If you have crackers place these as well
- Fill in board with candied almonds and any additional accompaniments
Pro Tip: Add 2-3, 4-inch sprigs of fresh rosemary for a festive touch
