How to: The Party Pleaser Cheeseboard

The Party Pleaser Plate

Pleasing to the eyes and tastebuds, this plate has our three most popular cheese flavors, sweet and spicy Utah-made pairings and a rich cured meat.

The Plate: We suggest a rectangular wooden serving board, 8 x 10 inches

Ingredients

Cheese:

  • Medium Cheddar, 1 pound
  • Gouda, 1 pound
  • Pepper Jack, 1 pound

 Meat:

  • Creminelli sopressa salami

 Accompaniments:

  • Bluebird Candy Co. candied almonds, quarter pound
  • Pepperlane Cran-Peno jelly, 11 ounces

 Tools:

  • The Creamery cheese knife
  • Small ramekin or serving bowl for jelly
  • Cutting board
  • Selected serving board

 Optional others:

  • Sprigs of fresh rosemary
  • Olive oil and sea salt crackers
  • Additional accompaniments, such as strawberries, chocolates or olives

Instructions

  1. Fill small ramekin or serving bowl with jelly and place on the board
  2. Arrange the sliced medium cheddar, gouda, pepper jack — between the cheese and the jelly, leave enough room to fill in with the remaining items
  3. Slice and place meat. If you have crackers place these as well
  4. Fill in board with candied almonds and any additional accompaniments

 Pro Tip: Add 2-3, 4-inch sprigs of fresh rosemary for a festive touch
