Why You Should Hug a Dairy Farmer This Month

If you know a dairy farmer, be sure to give them a hug this month. You already know how hard they work.

Dairy farmers work before sunrise and long after sunset every single day, with few days off, and their families typically help year-round on the farm. Their dedication brings us life’s simplest comforts: grilled cheese and tomato soup on rainy days, pizza and ice cream at summer parties, milk with warm cookies, and fresh, squeaky cheese curds.

June is National Dairy Month, a time to recognize the people behind the foods we love. At The Creamery in Beaver, Utah, we celebrate our connection to local family farms every day. As part of the Dairy Farmers of America cooperative since 1952, we proudly serve farm-fresh cheese, milk, ice cream, and delicious meals made with fresh, local ingredients from family farms right here in Utah.

Eat, Drink and Celebrate Dairy Farmers

How can you show your appreciation for dairy farmers? Get to work in the kitchen using real milk!

The Creamery milk is available in classic 2%, along with three fun flavors that make for unexpected, unique, and downright delicious recipes. As ultra-pasteurized milk, they undergo a higher-temperature pasteurization that makes them shelf-stable, meaning they last up to six months in your pantry without refrigeration.

In honor of National Dairy Month, try some Chocolate 2% Milk from The Creamery, available in-store and online, and whip up these delicious recipes.

  1. Chocolate-Peanut Butter Banana Dream Overnight Oats

  2. Single-Serve No-Bake Chocolate Pudding Pie

Real milk. Real fun flavors.
